Updated over a week ago

Dear valued users,

In order to simplify the traditional account structure and increase the utilization rate of funds for you, BIT has now launched the unified margin trading system (UM) on Nov 17, 2021. It is a new professional trading system launched by BIT that can use all currency assets as margin and trade the full range of products. Currently, the UM mode is supported by both web and API (UM will be launched on App later), welcome to upgrade your trading mode and enjoy the ultimate trading experience!

Compared to the classic trading system of BIT, the UM trading system has the following features.

  1. Brand-new account structure and no fund transfer required

In the UM mode, you can trade spot, margin, perpetual, futures and options in the same account.

  1. Multi-currency margin providing higher capital efficiency

All currencies in your account will be calculated in USDT value with haircut ratios to provide margin for all positions.

  1. Combined calculation of profit and loss for all positions

The profit and loss of multiple positions you hold will be combined and offset against each other.

  1. Supporting borrowing for trading

You can trade spot and derivatives settled in all currencies with just one collateral currency as margin.
